Recipes (helpful hints for food intake)

Remembering that the reason is the Lord and looking after His holy temple..
These are my opinion and convictions.. I applied these few ‘rules?’ and saw the weight drop off my hubby!! The thing is you ‘feel’ better, more energy and healthy organs!! Woop!
Avoid, corn, white potato, white rice.. (brown rice and brown rice pasta is fine..)
Avoid, white and brown sugar :-D.. honey, molasses, pure maple syrup, birch sugar, coconut sugar, Agave Syrup, Apple juice concentrate are some alternatives..
Avoid.. All bleached white flour!! But brown rice flour and or spelt flour is fine and yeast-free is best..

Avoid – All artificial sweeteners (Splenda, Nutrasweet , saccharin.. NO)
No diet artificial foods, nothing with MSG, saturated fats, fake fats, hydrogenated oils..
No diet artificial drinks.. I don’t want to hear it, NO..

The BATTLE is in the preparation.. so choose one day a week to do all the preparation :-D
Cut up raw vegetables and put them in plastic bags.. Wash lettuce, dry and store in plastic bags..
Cut up fresh fruit and soak in lemon juice!
Boil six to eight hormone free eggs for quick protein snacks or to use in salads..
Make two dozen healthy muffins... put in freezer.. (recipe coming up)
Stem four to sex cups of brown rice and store in plastic ware in the refrigerator.. I use brown rice for stir fry with vegies and chicken breast or plain with a meal.. (ORGANIC chicken..)
Right about now, hire a dvd called .. the Food Industry.. guarantee to motivate you to continue this journey!! Haha!
Boil four to six chicken breast (hormone-free), then let them cool, dice them up, and store in plastic bags in the refrigerator.. or freeze for future.. for salads or stirfries..
Take two cups of nonfat plain yogurt mix with any favourite seasoning and use for veggie dip..
Make a gallon of iced tea (your choice) (I always like to try nice new ones!! ) and add fruit juice and fresh lemons.. store in fridge for a refreshing drink..
Make sure that there is a big bowl of fresh fruit set out on a table :-D
Place water in fridge.. 2 litres? Aim to finish before going to bed.. flush! Flush out them toxins and hydrate!!!! If you dehydrated you get hungry.. fact!!

Breakfast ideas!!

Spinach, Tomato and goat cheese omelette!!! (Recipe done below!)
French or just ..Toast – organic spelt or millet bread or sour dough? Anyway, make sure it’s a good one!!! Not much gluten in the grain..(there are alternatives out there..)
Apple muffins!!
Fresh tomato and asparagus frittatas!!
Roasted Red pepper frittatas!!
Berry nut muffins ..
Fantastic Tomato and Zucchini Frittatas..

Ok.. some recipes before you eat your screen!!!
Spinach and Tomato & Goat Cheese Omelette
1tsp extra virgin olive oil (I have replaced this with a tsp with coconut oil/butter) ..
5 cherry tomatoes, halved
1 green onion, diced
1 cup baby spinach, washed and patted dry..
2 eggs
¼ cup crumbled goat cheese or low fat other cheese
Sea salt,
Freshly ground pepper
1 tpb water!

Directions
In a mixing bowl, crack eggs and beat.

In a large pan, add olive oil (coconut butter/oil) (i don’t like heating olive oil..) and heat on medium until pan is hot. Pour eggs evenly into pan. When egg is cooked, add spinach, tomato, and then sprinkle the goat cheese to one side. Use spatula to fold.
Salad Greens of Grace.. Recipe
1 cup cooked chicken breast, diced
4 cups of raw spinach leaves
1 cup red cabbage, thinly sliced
¼ cup green onion, diced
1 cucumber, seeded and sliced
¼ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
¼ low fat cheese.. crumbled.. ( i use goats fetta as I am intolerant to dairy..)
1 tart green apple, cored and diced!!
In a large bowl, combine all salad ingredients!!
Dressing..
3tbs sherry or balsamic vinegar or my best and only one APPLE CIDER WITH THE MOTHER!!
1 tbl Dijon mustartd
2tbl extra virgin olive oil..
1 tbl honey.. RAW honey
1 pinch sea salt etc
Pepper..
Combine dressing ingredients in a bottle and shake.. Sing song.. He took the shackles of my feet so I can dance.. I just wanta Praise Him.. lalalal! Optional!! Lol
Pour desired amount of dressing over salad and toss and enjoy!!

Oops.. I have to go prepare my own ‘chicken soup’.. everyone’s favourite!!
